Measuring body fat using BIA (Bioelectrical Impedance Analyzer) is becoming a popular method to check the body's composition and monitor a healthy diet [1]. There are a number of commercially available BIA products which can measure BFP (Body Fat Percentage) but the users often lose their interests due to carrying an additional device and lack of interaction with the device. In the mean time, smartphone users have greatly increased worldwide and they use the various applications for their needs. In order to maximize the functionality and ease of use, the smartphone connectable body fat analyzer has been developed with its application to monitor BFP and the application can suggest necessary diet to fit the need of an individual-specific body type.
